Gustavus Technology Services welcomes all students and employees back from the break and would like to share some of the technology resources that are available to you.  Come in from the cold and learn more about the resources available.

The Technology Helpline is available to offer assistance with all of the technology resources available to students and employees. The Technology Helpline is available via chat, phone (507-933-6111), email (helpline@gustavus.edu) or stop by the Technology Helpline in Olin Hall on the main floor. GusMail is the email service available to all students and employees.  It offers unlimited storage and integration with the rest of GSuite such as Google Calendar, Drive and Documents.

Google Drive is available to all students and employees.  Unlimited storage is provided with this service.

Microsoft Office365 offers students and employees full access to download and install the Microsoft Office suite on your personal machine and access to Office365 web apps and OneDrive.

Printers are available in most public lab spaces and residence halls.  When printing, there are a variety of methods available.   More information is available at the following link.

Hoonuit is an online, on demand training site that offers over 50,000 tutorial videos on over 250 technology applications, including Microsoft, Google, and Adobe products.

Qualtrics is an easy-to-use online survey software that allows you to create powerful surveys. You can easily collaborate while creating surveys and share results with other others –  analyzing results in Qualtrics or connecting to SPSS, Mechanical Turk, etc.

Starfish is a one-stop shop that allows students to schedule meetings with their instructors, advisors, or other services on campus; allows instructors, advisors, or employees to “flag” students when there is a concern or give students a “crown” when they do something positive. Using flags and crowns allows Gustavus to see areas of concern for students so we can help them stay on path to graduating from Gustavus.

GTS encourages all users to exercise safe computing habits when using campus resources.  This is especially true when working with sensitive information such as personally identifiable information or PII.  Email is not an appropriate or secure method to share PII.  It is also important to remove documents containing sensitive information from printers or copiers in public locations.  To learn more about safe computing best practices visit:
