GusMail now has additional safety features to protect against phishing and malware.  GusMail will display a warning when an email message falls under one of the following conditions:

  • An encrypted attachment is received from an untrusted sender
  • An attachment contains scripts from an untrusted sender
  • A malicious url is identified behind a shortened URL
  • A malicious image is detected under linked images
  • A link is detected that goes to an untrusted domain
  • A similar domain name is being spoofed
  • An employee name is detected as the sender, but the message wasn’t authenticated by our systems
  • A message is sent without authentication (SPF or DKIM) and is trying to spoof our domain
