Since our old master ldap server decided to kick the bucket yesterday, we had to scramble a little bit and push out a new ldap setup a little faster than we had planed. However in the end, I think it turned out to be a good thing. We now have 3 ldap servers running on Fedora Core 4 answering queries via regular ldap as well as over ssl. We have one master and 2 slaves, with plans for even more slaves in the future. Hopefully these FC4 ldap servers will fair better than the FC3 server we tried earlier that kept suffering from db corruption.
